Last night's dream was a mixture of a lot of things, including field trips, camping...pretty much different types of vacations. But the most vivid part is what stuck with me all day today.
I was at my grandma's house, a place I spend a lot of dream-time in, and I started to have a sore throat. It turned into a very bad sore throat and I was having extreme trouble swallowing food. I reached up to touch my neck and was shocked and terrified that it was swollen about twice the width it normally is.
Obviously I was freaking out. Talking to people and asking for help. Nobody knew what to do. They tried to feed me and it was like trying to swallow if your throat was the size of one of those coffee stirrer straws. It was the most awful feeling, and then my head started to swell as well. It was just about time to call 911 when I woke up.
All day today, I could still remember the feeling of my swollen neck and the pain that came with it. Consequently, I've been touching my neck all day long to make sure it's still a normal size.
